Meet Diane!
Diane Neal, a proud Texan now happily residing in Cookeville—a place she chose for its serene retirement setting—brings a wealth of experience and personal insight to her yoga teaching. A loving grandmother to eight and a great-grandmother to two, Diane's journey into yoga began in 2006, deeply enriching her life and wellbeing.
Diane's formal yoga education includes a 200-hour teacher training completed in 2019, focusing on the Hatha yoga style. By 2023, she achieved the advanced RYT-500 certification through her 300-hour training with Yoga Renew. Diane's passion for yoga deepened as she explored restorative and yin yoga, seeking ways to alleviate stress and manage grief. Her comprehensive training includes specializations in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Better Sleep, Meditation, and Sound Therapy, under the guidance of Kristine Weber of Subtle Yoga, integrating neuroscience with yoga practices.
Additionally, Diane has completed courses in Anatomy and Warriors at Ease Level 1, and iRest Yoga Nidra Level 1, both of which focus on trauma-informed teaching techniques. Her dedication to continuous learning is driven by her commitment to helping others find strength, flexibility, and peace through yoga.
Diane offers personalized yoga sessions, available as private or duet classes, tailored to meet the physical or emotional objectives of her clients. These sessions are especially beneficial for anyone on a healing journey, providing support tailored to individual needs.
When not teaching yoga, Diane enjoys gardening, including tending to her houseplants, hiking in nature, and immersing herself in a good book. She is excited to share her yoga journey and looks forward to helping her students achieve a harmonious balance of mind, body, and spirit through mindful and gentle practices.
